Floor Session:
Another busy week with two-a-day Floor Sessions in an attempt to finish up as soon as possible. The biggest upset this week was over the Superintendent of Public Instruction's budget. The budget failed to pass due to many members of the body feeling that a certain policy should have been funded when it was not. Also, there were a few members that are not pleased with the work the Superintendent has done, and this all led to the Appropriation Bill failing on the Floor.
As in previous Legislative Sessions, all Bills passed and all votes are "YES" unless otherwise noted. aaH and aaS indicate Bills amended in House or Senate.
All Bills can be investigated further on legislature.idaho.gov. Go to "Legislative Sessions" and then you can search by Bill number or topic.
