Floor Session:

We had multiple afternoon Floor Sessions this week and had some extended debate as well. This led to long days, but that is normal for this point in the Session as we try to finish up the legislative business and end the Session at, or near, our target adjournment date. HJR 8 was a proposed Constitutional amendment to strengthen victims rights in the State. It failed because a 2/3 majority (47 votes) was needed to pass and it received only 42 votes.

As in previous Legislative Sessions, all Bills passed and all votes are "YES" unless otherwise noted. aaH and aaS indicate Bills amended in House or Senate.
